Founded in 1962, the company began its activity in engineering (civil) mechanics, also determining its name: Geniomeccanica SA.
Very soon, however, the company's orientation changed direction by becoming a generalmachine shop, expanding its activities through representations of highly professional industrial products such as Linde (hoists), Demag (overhead cranes), Kaeser (compressors), and Heizmann (hydraulic hoses) and quickly becoming the "genius" of mechanical engineering.
In 1990, the first site in Giubiasco became too small and the new industrial complex in S. Antonino (current headquarters) with over 2,000sqm was built, allowing the company to diversify its activities by creating an industrial assembly department for products destined for the world market.
In 1996 the company obtained ISO 9001 certification, a sign of professionalism and high quality. Certification that is still in force today and demonstrates business continuity.
In 2008, even the new location becomes too small, a third hall is built adding approx. 1,000sqm of space for all activities.
With more space, in 2013 the company expanded its activities by acquiring new representation, organizing itself into 3 distinct sectors(Industry, Clean and Green), and creating a true Service and Maintenance Center (CAM).
In 2018, the company's diversification is further intensified by entering the world of bio-medical mobility, collaborating and producing medical devices for its affiliate Genny Factory.
Today it represents a solid entity that offers customers in the area the very latest in the market with a service worthy of its name, Geniomeccanica SA.
